Mutimer - Conversations at a Jazz Club

Product Showcase

Overview

“MUTIMER: CONVERSATIONS AT A JAZZ CLUB” releases tomorrow as part of the announcement for his latest collection. Jasper (the owner of Mutimer), originally pitched the concept to me as a long take shot which would take us through a Jazz club all the way onto the stage. Having recently watched Martin Scorsese’s 1977 film ‘New York, New York’, I went back to him with a different take on it, taking inspo from the film’s 1940s aesthetics and popping colours. Being the first time I’ve been able to work with a much larger budget and film crew, I was eager to demonstrate what I could do. I believe the work represents one of my proudest achievements so far, and everyone who played a role in this helped make it special. Cheers to the team and my close collaborator and cinematographer @uncut_jasp whose work also help bring this project to its fullest potential. As well as @otisnamrell who stepped up to play the lead role in a last minute recast.
